Last night in Budapest reminded me why culture matters so much.
I had the pleasure of attending the Csángó Ball at the Millenáris, and it was genuinely moving to see young members of the Csángó community keeping their traditions so alive through music, dance, and a strong sense of identity. There was something very real and joyful about it.
Moments like these show how culture brings people together in the most natural way. Experiencing the Csángó-Hungarian spirit up close was a true highlight. Music and dance really do speak a shared language, beyond borders and titles.
Thank you to Mr. Németh Zsolt, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, for hosting such a warm and meaningful evening.
