Somogyország egyik legszebb panorámája - újra lehet sétálni a fonyódi Szaplonczay sétány felújított szakaszán.

Somogy vármegyei látogatásom keretében örömmel adtam át a felújított fonyódi Szaplonczay sétányt a Fonyódi Kishuszár Bandérium legkisebbjeinek közreműködésével. A fonyódi Várhegyi kilátóhoz vezető sétányról páratlan kilátás nyílik a Balaton északi partjára, a tanúhegyekre.

Amikor valaki a Balaton szót hallja, éljen bárhol a világon, hogyha magyar, akkor úgy dobban meg a szíve, ahogy senki másnak. A Balaton közös pont a magyaroknak. Ez a sétány pedig nem pusztán a természeti gazdagságra hívja fel a figyelmünket, hanem az emberi értékekre is, a közösség értékeire, hiszen ezek együtt adják Magyarország gazdagságát.

One of the most beautiful panoramas of “Somogy country”, as this region is often referred to – you can walk again on the renovated section of the Szaplonczay promenade in Fonyód.

As part of my visit to Somogy County, I was delighted to inaugurate the renovated Szaplonczay promenade in Fonyód with the participation of the youngest members of the Fonyód Kishuszár Bandérium (Little Hussar Banderium). From the promenade leading to the Várhegyi lookout in Fonyód, you can enjoy an unparalleled view of the northern shore of Lake Balaton, the buttes.

When you hear the word Balaton, no matter where you live in the world, if you are Hungarian, your heart beats like no other’s. Lake Balaton is a common point for Hungarians. And this promenade not only draws our attention to the natural richness, but also to the human values, the values of the community, because together they make up the richness of Hungary.
