Minden évben május utolsó vasárnapján, a Magyar Hősök Emlékünnepén, fejet hajtunk azok emléke előtt, akik a hazáért, a szabadságért, a magyar nemzet megmaradásáért küzdöttek. Hőseinkre emlékezünk, akik nélkül nem lennénk ma itt. Az ő áldozatukban gyökerezik a mai Magyarország függetlensége és szuverenitása. Az emlékezés nem elég, példát is kell vennünk hősiességükből, tartásukból, önfeláldozásukból. Erősnek és felkészültnek kell lenni a béke garantálásához. Ezért fejlesztjük a magyar honvédséget. Katonáinkra büszkék vagyunk.

Every year on the last Sunday of May, on Hungarian Heroes' Memorial Day, we bow our heads in memory of those who fought for their homeland, for freedom and for the survival of the Hungarian nation. We remember our heroes, without whom we would not be here today. The independence and sovereignty of today's Hungary is rooted in their sacrifice. It is not enough to remember them, we must also take their heroism, their attitude and their self-sacrifice as an example. We must be strong and prepared in order to guarantee peace. That is why we are developing the Hungarian Defence Forces. We are proud of our soldiers.
