Újabb százmilliókat kapott Brüsszelből a nemzetközi politikai nyomásgyakorló hálózat egyik magyarországi koordinátora, az Autonómia Alapítvány. Egy több mint 6,26 millió eurós (csaknem 2,4 milliárd forintos) projektben vesznek részt, a CEU-val közösen. A pénzt ezúttal is arra kapták, hogy a hálózat magyarországi szereplőinek működését finanszírozzák.

️ Az Autonómia a rendszerváltoztatás óta a progresszív, baloldali érdekeket képviseli Magyarországon. Ezek az érdekek hívták életre, és tartják fenn, ezeket szolgálja 1990 óta.

Az Autonómia fő finanszírozói között ott vannak a nyílt társadalom eszméjét támogató amerikai alapítványok, mint például a Rockefeller, a Ford, valamint a Soros György nevéhez köthető Open Society Foundations. Ezek az elmúlt évtizedben összesen mintegy 150 millió forinttal járultak hozzá a szervezet működéséhez. Korábban hatalmas összegeket kaptak a USAID-tól és a German Marshall Fundtól, miközben az Európai Bizottság csak az elmúlt öt évben mintegy félmilliárd forintot bízott rájuk. Az Ökotárssal együtt éveken át koordinálták az 5 milliárd forintos Norvég Civil Alap forrásainak szétosztását, és nemrég újabb norvég pénzek elköltésére is lehetőséget kaptak. A CERV-források is részben az Autonómián keresztül folytak a helyi politikai nyomásgyakorló szervezetekhez.

Az uniós támogatásokat névleg romaprogramokra kapták, de influenszerek képzésére, „kutatásokra”, és a hálózat működésének biztosítására fordították.

The Autonómia Foundation, one of the Hungarian coordinators of the international political pressure network, has received another several hundred million forints from Brussels. It is taking part in a project worth more than EUR 6.26 million (nearly 2.4 billion forints) together with CEU. This time as well, the funds were awarded to finance the operations of the network’s Hungarian actors.

️ Since the regime change, Autonómia has represented progressive, left-wing interests in Hungary. These interests brought it into being and have sustained it, and it has served them since 1990.

Among Autonómia’s main funders are U.S. foundations that support the idea of an open society, such as the Rockefeller Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and the Open Society Foundations linked to George Soros. Over the past decade, these have contributed a total of around 150 million forints to the organisation’s operations. Previously, Autonómia received large sums from USAID and the German Marshall Fund, while the European Commission has entrusted it with roughly half a billion forints over the past five years alone. Together with Ökotárs, they coordinated the distribution of the 5-billion-forint resources of the Norwegian Civil Fund for years, and recently they were also given the opportunity to spend additional Norwegian funds. CERV funds also flowed in part through Autonómia to local political pressure organisations.

The EU funds were nominally awarded for Roma programmes, but were spent on training influencers, on “research,” and on keeping the network running.
