Ľubomír SVOBODA arrived to Alba Regia Barracks in #Székesfehérvár on 30 March to attend a meeting with the leadership of HQ MND-C; Major General Denis TRETINJAK, commander, Brigadier General Tibor KRÁLIK, deputy commander, Major General László GARAS, chief of staff and Command Sergeant Major Mario MATELJIC to discuss the status and the future of #HQMNDC from their respective national aspects. The meeting was followed by a report of Maj. Gen. TRETINJAK to HE Mladen ANDRLIĆ, Ambassador of Croatia, Tamás VARGHA, Parliamentary State Secretary and Deputy Minister of Defence of Hungary and Marian MAJER, State Secretary of the Ministry of Defence of the Slovak Republic.
The chief of defence-level meeting and the report took place as a prelude to a moment of utmost significance in the life of HQ MND-C, the ceremonial declaration of the Initial Operational Capability (#IOC) and hand over-take over of the Hungarian and Slovakian NATO Force Integration Units (#NFIU) due today…
