KFOR Commander, Major General Ferenc Kajári presided over the Change of Command ceremony and flag donation to Command and Control (C2) Commander in Camp Novo Selo.
Since 2014, the Camp Novo Selo has been operating under Hungarian leadership in a multinational environment comprises 13 nations. The C2 plays a key role in caring of almost 1,200 soldiers on a daily basis. This component has also managed the camp in close coordination with NATO Support and Procurement Agency and all the nations billeted in the camp.
General Kajári emphasized in his speech “As the Commander of KFOR I am proud to present a flag in recognition of the efforts and work done by the men and women serving in C2 of Camp Novo Selo”.
At the event the Hungarian Ambassador in Pristina Dr. József BENCZE, KFOR Deputy Commander Brigadier General Günter SCHÖPF, KFOR Chief of Staff Brigadier General John MAIER and other distinguished guests and representatives of all the contingents stationed in Novo Selo were present.
