"Ukraine is a country at war, but this is not an excuse for everything. Ukrainians have no right to beat people to death during forced conscription," Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said on Saturday.

According to hirado.hu, PM Orbán said in the Fighters Club Facebook group that József Sebestyen had been carried away by force from Berehove (Beregszasz), beaten up several times and then taken to the hospital. The victim made a statement about the events in front of a lawyer, and later died, PM Orbán added.

"We expect punishment for those responsible," he said.

He added that every Hungarian is responsible for all Hungarians.

PM Orbán said the Ukrainians were accusing Hungary even in such a situation. "They say we create tension and damage Hungarian-Ukraine relations in vain. They say this after beating a a Hungarian citizen to death. Enough is enough".

"In the meantime, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen discuss ways to prevent a Hungarian veto on Ukraine's European Union accession. "A waste of time. No way. They should instead discuss how to prevent people from dying from forced conscription," he said.

"We are fighting for justice. Fight against lies!" he added.

PM Orbán concluded his entry by saying, "274 days more".
